Adventures Around Cincinnati - Rumpke Recycling Center

We took a trip to visit the Rumpke Recycling Center on Vine Street.  We learned about the history of Rumpke and took a tour through their (mostly) automated recycling process. Magnets, air jets, other machines sorted the objects into the correct slot (paper, tin, etc)  It was very impressive. And what a mountain of recyclables ready to be processed!

GFWC Southwest District Information Day 8/8/2026 We picked up beautiful swag bags in honor of our country's 250 anniversary, full of all sorts of celebratory items. We got a lot of information about the Community Service Organizations to take back to our clubs, put together lots of change boxes for Domest Violence Awareness and just had a good time.
