We are a group of members who gather to make handcrafts for various organizations. In the past they have made puffy hearts for emergency workers to distribute to children, tray favors for out Nursing Home Parties. and Warm Knitted Hats for dis-advantged school children.

We are currently providing PLARN (plastic yarn) to make charity sleep mats. We cut up plastic bags (typically Kroger bags and the like) into strips which are then joined together to make 'yarn'. The yarn is then woven into the mats. In addition to keeping plastic out of the landfill, we are helping others have a more comfortable sleeping surface.
