Downtown Decorating

For more than thirty-five years the club has been involved in
decorating the City of Montgomery’s Historic District for the holiday season. Members of the club serve as chairmen of the event and work on this extensive project with the City Volunteer Coordinator, the City Beautification Commission, City Service Department plus MWC members and volunteers from throughout the city. The project involves preparing the decorations, placing the decorations throughout the city plus taking the decorations down and
storing them. This is an ongoing project which has grown throughout years as the city expands.
